UFC 153 Fighter Salaries, Attendance & Gate
It was a nice return to the Octagon and homecoming for Big Nog last night at UFC 153 - he got himself a victory, a Submission of the Night bonus, as well as earning the biggest payday.
Before we go any further, we should note that international events generally don't release fighter pay info, so none of the following salary data for the event is official. However, you can get a fairly accurate picture of a fighter's pay based on official purse info released from past fights. @CollegeWolf But the UFC can afford it - I just updated the article with attendance and gate info. The company made some dough last night.
@CollegeWolf I can usually tell how strong the PPV buyrate will be based on the amount of traffic I get on the site the day after. I'm getting much more traffic today than I did after UFC 152, so my guess is it will be a strong seller.
How can Glover and Erick Silva make so little?!? And poor Fabiola is going to need all of that 10K for medical bills...
