So you think you know your MMA? You think you can predict who is going to win a fight and how? Time to prove it. We present to you The MMA Manifesto Pick 'Em contest sponsored by our friends at The Silver Star Casting Company, the cool people who make the funky entrance shirts the fighters wear on their way to the cage. The contest will be run for every major MMA event for 2010, with the winner of each event getting a signature fight shirt from Silver Star and the grand prize winner at the end of the year (based on accumulated points for all the events) getting a Silver Star shopping spree (value to be determined at a later date). One entry per person. Any questions, fire us off an e-mail.
Next up: UFC Fight Night 21 - all picks need to be submitted before the non-televised portion of the event takes place (5:00 pm Eastern this Wednesday night). If you don't predict the correct winner of a match you don't qualify for the bonus point given for predicting how the match will be won. Also, while we are only picking winners for the main card of the event, non-televised matches still qualify for the end of night bonuses (Fight, KO & Submission of the Night) so keep that in mind when entering your responses to those questions. Ties will be broken by the following, in order: 1) Most questions correct, 2) Most points earned from main event match, 3) Whoever entered their picks the earliest. Good luck!
