UFC 141 not only did well at the pay-per-view box office, it also raked in the cash in gate receipts for Zuffa. 10,091 tickets were sold for the event, held on Dec 30th at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, for a total of $3,101,000 in gate receipts. The average UFC event in 2011 pulled in just over $2 million, so this was a lucrative event for the UFC to close out the year with.
